I tried to contact them via the HELP Desk, but the silence was defeaning.

I’ve since learned how to get back in under a different IP and name but why waste my time when I can access the info and reviews etc. so need to be a participant to be lined up and summarily executed by a Kangaroo Court.

I didn’t use a signature link, never promoted a service/product and never made any ” that’s great” type posts.

I made about 80 posts in 9 months, used the “thanks” button around 36 times and was thanked myself about 10 times.

The only thing I spoke out about was the triangle advertising the War Room, (which is actually a square, with the missing bit being a sneaky, invisible link to the WR. Ethical?)

And then one day I couldn’t log in. Banned for life. No warnings or explanations and of course no answer from the moderators.

I did lose a lot of useful threads that I had book marked but stuff em I say, bunch of xxxxs! LG.

Answered a question about the program Audacity….someone was having problems with humming in their audio, so I gave them a good answer.

NONE of my posts NOR my signature had any links, except for one, a thumbnail link to a “backlink site” on a particular site that showed ranking, backlinks, social bookmarks..and that thumbnail was only there so someone more knowledgeable with webstats could help me determine if a particular niche was too competitive, cuz I don’t know what all the stats mean.

One of my posts got deleted, because I agreed w/someone else on some gurus(and I did not mention any names NOR did I hint at anyone) not caring about you or me…tiz the truth.

But, my account stayed active for a few more hours. Then, BAM!!!!! Banned for life for breaking rules…I didn’t sell anything, promote anything, had no sig file, and made a total of 15 posts…and they hate me!

What a bunch of losers…I’ve heard terrible stuff about Allan Says before, but I didn’t even know he owned that forum until now…that explains it all

The ironic part is that forum members are all so self righteous about integrity and ethics…what a joke.

Before anyone jumps up and says, “Then why don’t you do it?,” I am in the throes of returning home to the US and can’t consider starting something that I haven’t the time to work on to make it succeed.

I actually came across your blog as it was linked from another “less than happy” with the Warrior forum poster.

Although I haven’t had the pleasure of being banned yet, I have been the victim of many a thread magically ‘poofing’ for no good reason – and without so much as a reason why. My latest one was due to speculated “self-promotion” because I was asking for people to come help test a site I had recently created.

Funnily enough, when I questioned why, another member went completely off at me about my thread when in fact she had me confused with a different thread (she was claiming things I never said, and when I questioned her via PM, she realised her mistake). Oddly, the other thread which WAS self-promotion, was allowed to stay. Ironically MY thread questioning why my first thread was deleted was ALSO deleted…

My main issue with it all was that threads were deleted without a word being uttered to the thread owners as to why. When you come back in the morning to see if anyone has posted replies to your question, only to be completely unable to find your thread is frustrating. To realise it’s been deleted and have NO idea what you’ve done wrong is even worse… how do they expect people to learn from mistakes?

When I questioned this method, I was mocked and laughed at that “omg how could I expect them to send a message to every user when they are such a busy forum?!” I was labelled stupid for even thinking such a thing. Yet I, who ran a forum of 40,000 plus members myself (and ran it completely alone for the majority of the time) found the time to notify EVERY member when their thread was moved, edited or deleted. So yes, not only was I “stupid” in thinking other forum owners would respect their members the same, but was surprised to find it was not the case…

I’ve found myself on the WF less and less these days. All my attemts at posting have either been deleted or met with unpleasant replies or worse, no replies at all.

I hadn’t realised either as most ‘guru’s’ and internet marketers recommend it and tell you it’s packed with experienced people.

There are experienced people that have a wealth of knowledge but there are scammers too. The problem comes when you probe these scammers. There mates, who are usually the ones that are heavily endorsing the scam, will turn on you like a lynch mob and get you banned.

Allen Says, the owner, has publicly stated that he is trying to stamp this out but it appears it’s just lip service.

If you join, and I’m not telling you not to, beware and tread very carefully.

I thought they were against that sort of thing? I am REALLy scratching my head.

Thank you for letting me know, and I am going to kind of observe it for a while. I don’t get on too much and I have had some helpful interactions with some of the members, but geesh….
